Maverick Corner was acquired by Propertuity in 2012. In November 2013, the building was launched and with the opening came the introduction of 13 new retailers to the neighbourhood. The Ethiopian restaurant, King James XVI, had been a tenant for many years before the development was reimagined and they continue to operate as a valued anchor at Maverick corner. Other tenants that deliver a stellar food and leisure offering include Lenin’s Vodka Bar and Soul Souvlaki.
