Dating back to the 1930’s it is speculated that this was once a site where rocket parts were manufactured. The striking artwork of the building was designed by artist collaborator Marcus Neustetter to reflect this rumoured legacy in physical space. The facade artwork, a Google Earth trace of the area (a satellite’s perspective sent to space by rockets), a rocket sculpture on the roof and an integrated design language throughout the building, marries artistic expression, reference to the mysteries and myths surrounding this building and contemporary lifestyle. The two buildings that make up the Rocket Factory were acquired by Propertuity in 2013 and developed into one residential building that today houses 35 loft apartments.
