The name Revolution House is inspired by the changing ways of people and how they now engage with the city. Revolution House represents a lifestyle, a type of social revolution. Originally built as a juice factory, the premises later became the manufacturing and sales premises for Barry Colne & Co (Pty) Ltd. The building was left vacant for years before Propertuity purchased it in late 2010. During 2011, Daffonchio & Associates Architects converted it into a primarily residential building of 42 new units to cater for the growing residential demand in the area.
